New Membership Application Pre-Qualifications
- Must have and show proof of a current and valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test on a regular basis (including, but not limited to, a cheek swab test).
- Must have a reliable phone number. Applicants with inactive phone numbers will no longer be considered.
All applications will be sent to Iowa Laborers’ Education & Training Program to determine initial classification.
Apprentice Level (Less than 4000 HRS construction laboring experience): Pre-qualified applicants may be contacted by the Apprenticeship Program to schedule Skill Assessment testing.
Journeyman Level: Pre-qualified applicants may be selected by the Hall for work assignments on a probationary basis, but not to exceed 500 hours.
